A small robot made primarily from wood. It is facing a small silver cube. Both are on top of a checkerboard-patterened table

Northwestern Design Competition

Faced with a challenge called "robot checkers," a teammate and I designed this robot to pick up and stack blocks on our own colored squares. When the robot got stuck on an obstacle in the field, it dropped the blocks on the opponents color - loosing the match spectacularly, but earning us the "Elegant Engineering" award for its otherwise very effective performance

Designed primarily in OnShape and composed of laser-cut plywood components and some 3D-printed PLA parts.
